Backup Manager offers a CD burning and storage service to complement
our online data-backup service. As a Backup Manager client, you will
have the option of having historical data "burned" onto
a set of CDs and shipped to you directly, or stored in our data center.
You may request the service on demand, or schedule it for regular
intervals.
Most of our clients use this service for two reasons:
1.
Once historical data is stored on CD, it can be purged from the electronic
storage - thereby keeping monthly service fees for Backup Manager to
a minimum.
2. Our Best Practices Policy indicates
that clients should produce CD copies of historical data and store them
in a secure off-site location, such as our data center.
