Backup Manager provides an automated, secure method of backing up your
data. Here is how our service works:
- Begin by clicking Free Trial to start your 2 week test of our service.
- You will be prompted to enter certain user information. This is necessary so our servers can identify your data for storage and retrieval.
- You will be prompted to create an encryption password. This allows only you to access your data. Your data is encrypted on your computer prior to being transmitted to our data center.
- You will create a “Backup Profile,” through a Windows Explorer style interface that allows you to select files or entire folders that you wish to backup.
- The initial upload of data will be all of the selected files or folders.
- After this, Backup Manager will determine which new or changed files are required to be updated and backup only these files.
- You may choose to set an automatic backup at a frequency of your choosing, or backup by launching the program yourself at any time.
- Backup Manager will advise you by e-mail of successful backup sessions to assure complete peace of mind in your data backup protocol.
